Job Title: Kitchen Manager
Reports To: Sous Chef
Persephone Bakery LLC seeks two full-time, year-round Kitchen Managers in Jackson, WY. The primary worksite will be at 3445 N. Pines Way, Suite 102, Wilson, WY. Travel may be required to other restaurants owned by Persephone Bakery LLC or its sister companies, but worksites will be limited to Teton County, WY. The Kitchen Manager is expected to work 40 hours per week.
Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas to ensure kitchen operates in an efficient manner and conforms to quality and sanitation standards. Collaborate with Executive Chef to plan menu and direct food preparation. Supervise and train kitchen staff in food preparation, service, and sanitation procedures. Create work schedules, conduct employee evaluations, and complete disciplinary write-ups. Analyze problems with kitchen operations and establish procedures to alleviate these problems. Recommend measures for improving kitchen procedures and employee performance to increase service quality. Assign duties, responsibilities, and workstations to employees to increase service quality and enhance job safety. Supervise cleaning of kitchen and dining area to ensure sanitation regulations are met. Conduct inventory of food, including produce, dairy, meat, and dry goods, and order replacements as necessary.
