How many locations are there?

We have three cafés in the area; Persephone in Downtown Jackson, PICNIC (close to Albertson's) and Persephone on the Westbank.

You can also visit our sister restaurant for dinner Coelette, reservations recommended.

What meals do you serve?

We serve Breakfast all day at all locations. Our Lunch menu begins at 10:30am at Downtown Persephone & PICNIC. Westbank Persephone starts serving lunch at 11am. The kitchens are open from 7am-3pm at all locations.

Do you offer future ordering? Can I place a lunch order early in the morning before lunch is being served?

We apologize but we are currently unable to offer future ordering. We only offer ASAP pickup orders at this time. The app will tell you the approximate wait time for your food to be ready when you place your order. (Please do not place lunch orders before the specified time that lunch begins. Picnic & Persephone Downtown - lunch begins at 10:30am. Westbank - 11am) 

The Locals Line APP is not working for me.

There may be occasional problems with the online ordering system. First re-download the app - or - update your app! They should update immediately after. We use a third party company called Tapmango for our APP and rewards. </br>

Why have you discontinued Special Orders and Bake at Home after October 1, 2022

We have made the decision to suspend Special Orders and Bake at Home during the majority of the year. Several factors were a part of this decision; limited production space, cafe growth, staffing availbility and beyond. We will still be offering a selection of items during the holidays.

Will there be Bake and Home and Special Orders for Christmas?

Stay tuned for Holiday special orders in 2024. Lot's of things have been changing and we will update this information as soon as possible.

Is Persephone Bakery/PICNIC making Pies or Rolls for the Thanksgiving and Christmas?

Persephone Bakery and Picnic will no longer be offering the past catered options of pies and parkerhouse rolls for Thanksgiving. We have chosen to take this time to give back to our employees, and allow them an opportunity to rest and spend time with family, in between our peak summer and holiday periods.

Do you offer reservations at your cafes?

We do not offer reservations at any of our locations. All of our cafés are counter service with first come first serve seating. We have outdoor seating during the summer season that greatly expands our capacity. The shops may be small but don't let that scare you. You typically can always find a seat, and maybe meet an interesting table neighbor. In this town you never know who you'll sit next to!

Do you take reservations for special events or buy outs?

Our cafés are all operating at maximum capacity so we are unable to accommodate special event and buyouts for the foreseeable future.

Can I order a birthday or event cake from Persephone Bakery?

We no longer bake traditional cakes. We do offer seasonal bundt cakes, but we do not offer basic layer cakes.

Do you have event favors?

We have many packaged goods that make great favors or gifts for events. Although we do not currently accept special orders we stock our shelves high with fresh baked goodies in each cafe, available for purchase everyday.

Dessert Bars/Catering

Persephone sweets can be a great addition to your event. You can order packaged items online or pick up items in the cafes to add to your cookie and sweet trays.

What type of catering do you offer?

At this time we do not offer catering or special orders. All items must be ordered and purchased day of at our cafe locations.

Do you have sandwich trays or salads for catering?

We do not offer sandwich trays or menu items for catering.

Do you deliver?

We are not able to deliver.

What can you do for food allergies?

Our food may contain or come into contact with common allergens, such as dairy, eggs, wheat, soybeans, tree nuts, peanuts, fish, shellfish or wheat. Please be advised that cross contamination may occur. Our facilities are not food allergen or gluten-free. Customers with food allergies or other nutritional concerns are advised to notify the manager of any of our cafes for assistance.

Do you have ingredient lists?

Please ask at the counter and we are happy to provide the full ingredients for any item served.

I don't have my Bake at Home instructions!

No problem! Click Here and you're on your way to fresh baked pastry fun!

How long does the pastry dough keep in the freezer?

Great question! At Persephone we use a very small amount of natural yeast to achieve the flavor and texture that we want for our pastries. Because of this our Bake at Home frozen doughs are best when baked within two weeks.

Wow, that's a big cookie!

We sell our Teton sized cookies in all our locations but you can certainly make smaller cookies at home if you'd like and still follow the same baking instructions.

I left something at one of the restaurants!

We get it, it happens! So if you have left something at one of the restaurants please contact the location you left the item at, and we will let you know if the item was turned in to our staff. We will hold onto any lost items in our office for you to collect.
